Snorkelling, paddle boarding, and kayaking around the resort was incredible. At first, we were mildly disappointed (with humanity, not the resort) because most corals seemed unfortunately dead, but the more we explored, especially during high tide, the more stuff we saw - clownfish (Nemo), Dory fish (Dory), parrot fish, giant parrot fish, giant clams, squids, stingrays, urchins, damsel fish, catfish, and many more we cannot name. We were also very fortunate to see monitor lizards, lots of hornbills, and macaques. The resort has the Marine Ecology Center within it that is trying to boost the growth of corals as well as the local giant clam population, which is fantastic to see. Kayaking in the mangroves during high tide was also excellent. A lot of the food was delicious. And we barely used the infinity pool because we spent most of our time in the sea, but that was nice too. The staff are all very kind!

We LOVED our stay here and don't understand any of the negative reviews! The resort was gorgeous and very clean - no issues with trash in the sea while we were there. Rooms were comfy, if you're used to Uber 5* luxury they might feel a little rustic but they were very spacious and luxe enough for us. The infinity pool is stunning, and there are loads of free activities on offer. It's also a responsible hotel, it's plastic free and you can refill water for free unlimited. Visit the MERC to learn about their reef conservation too! The staff were all incredible. You have to visit this place if you're in Borneo and I can't wait to return!

The boat ride was brief. The welcome was great. We had Ms Lydia brief us about everything on the island. Food spread was delicious! Even breakfast was gooood. Choices of recreational activities were many too! The recreation team were very welcoming and encouraging. We did the paddle board and guided mangrove kayak. We also went for the MERC talk on giant clams! Good to see those efforts being done. The touch tank was great too! We planted corals too 🥰 the room was huge with a huge balcony. Beds and pillows were really comfortable. Bathroom was great. Everything was good!!!

The island vibe is pretty cool especially the over water villa & the pool by the restaurant. Breakfast was amazing with quality offerings including fresh orange juices & delectable dishes. Staffs were exemplary & eager to serve namely Eduardo & Eleanor (restaurant) & Awang from merc & Lydia the duty manager. Generally they were all pleasant & welcoming. Thank you. The downer is the trash build up on its shores following high tide. Overall it was a wonderful holiday deserving a repeat for sure. Will definitely come back..

Very friendly staff. They fullfilled every single wish, always helpful and smiling. They offer a great snorkeling trip to Sulug Island. There are many spa treatments available. The pool is amazing, very clean. There is only one restaurant and every dish we had was delicious and looked absolutely beautiful. A wide variety of dishes is available also for breakfast. Water and clean towels are delivered to the room daily.
